I live in Vancouver! It has milder weather than the rest of this big beautiful country I call my home, Canada. With that comes the rain, rain that keeps the grass green, the trees lush, the flowers in full bloom, and even tops up the water sheds that provide most folks in the lower mainland with one of the life giving nutrients most creatures on this planet need. However, it doesn’t rain as much as everyone else seems to think it does, but when it does, it’s a welcome change to the seasons we experience here in Vancouver, one that is warmly welcomed, and its the rain that’s sexy this week.

Watching the darkened clouds billow in over the city skyline gearing up for a release of always fresh smelling, cooly tingling drops of rain is always exciting. A sight packed with as much emotion as the blanket of fog that gently unfurls itself over the city moving eastward from the harbour inland through the downtown streets onward to the pathways of the parks. It seems that folks are going through something these days, a lot of something, break-ups, job loss, the loss of loved ones, serious transitions & transformations, and I am not sure if it has something to with planetary alignment or energy shifts, but it’s some serious shit! There has been, and are many a conversation going on out there about the feelings and acknowledgement of this shift, and one thing that is for sure is the lack of emotional protection or advance warning when something does happen. The wall, that proverbial wall we build around our emotions to keep us guarded and strong seems to be crashing down hard, and for so many, with some serious consequences. (more…)

Aside from the hair on your head, one of the first things we notice about a person is their smile and the set of teeth to back that smile up. Bright pearly whites, and I stress pearly, cause real teeth aren’t white but more a beautiful pearlescent, clean teeth that are a good indicator of the rest of an individual’s personal hygiene. Oral hygiene in the form of clean healthy teeth and a lovely smelling breath, that’s WHAT”S SEXY THIS WEEK!

The onset of warmer weather is generally when you see an increase in the last minute efforts being made by many to get that beach ready body. The rise in the numbers of folks sweating it out at the gym or taking it to the streets reminiscent of the broken resolutions from the start of each new year. The ability to keep that pace going year round, day in and day out takes discipline, serious motivation, and a healthy heaping of determination.

Arteries, the muscular of the two, are mostly what we see situated closer to the surface of the skin that pulse in front of our very own eyes in an effort to keep up with the daily demands of the human body. I always found myself envious of the olfactory power of cats, dogs, and pretty much every animal other than homosapiens. The power to smell! It is such a powerful tool in the animal kingdom and for some reason we humans don’t quite have that ability. Sure we can utilize so many of our other senses, but when it gets right down to it , we love the smell of sex, sexuality, and desire! The before, the after, the heightened pheromones that get our drives going, but then we don’t really smell pheromones do we?
